Last week the Ulster Chess Union ratings list was published. There is no point in Ulster chess players concerning themselves too much about "ratings."
It is quite possible to have two ratings a UCU rating and a FIDE rating.
The best thing is to just enjoy playing the game and not worry about "ratings," after all none of us are "professionals" so our livelihood does not depend upon it.
It also makes it very difficult for foreign tournaments organisers to estimate the true playing strength of Ulster players!
